there is no 12" that is comparable to the m1210. the Sony SZ is a 13" with a 7400. the Asus A8Js is a 14" with a 512 7700.

The Asus A8Js might be a good fit. 14" with a Core 2 Duo and 512 Nvidia 7700.

got my A8Jm from portableone. i highly recommend them.

you can upgrade most Core Duo systems to a Core 2 Duo yourself after you buy it.
