I bet they do. My 7900GTX is been underclocked. I once installed the coolbit and I saw the core speed was at 500Mhz which was lower than the standard GTX gives. I couldn't remember what the 2nd number below the core speed represented....

True. As a owner of the M1710, you will need to order it yourself. In my case, I just selected the option while ordering the whole system. I believe its a "nice to have" option since you don't wanna stick an external bluetooth...

Sorry Jim, I got it. Yeah. I guess the noise is what you said coming from the hard disk. Itsnt loud at all, comparing my desktop. I cannot really remember the manufacturer of the HD. Will check and see.

Umm... Interesting. So when you, say, put your ear right next to the vent on the right(the one beside the multi-memory card reader, I believe you should be hearing some kind of noise coming from inside of the laptop. What's the noise...

See if pdonket were referring to that kind of noise. But for me, I dont have different noise from the speaker underneath with or without battary, but the one I mentioned above.
