the performace gains you see are so mi-nute its not worth it. And its a waste of your time. Unles you have 500 things running, i wouldn't worry about it.

yep. http://www.simmtester.com/PAGE/products/doc/docinfo.asp and download docmem. Its a great tester. but it defintly soudns like it is in need of an RMA
ftdisk.sys has something to do with the harddrive, not the memory. You may want to try scan disking the drive to see if there are bad sectors.
will someone enlighten me on what war driving is? Im assuming it has to do with driving around and finding on secured wirless networks.
