1 Intel 2 Reliability is paramount, id rather have a slightly slower drive that doesn't die.
FAT32 is slighty more efficient with lots of smaller files. Thats about it, who knows big companies love to do weird stuff :P
THe only reason i dont like AVG is its slow, really good at picking things up but NOD32 does it just as well does it much faster
Anther vote for NOD32 here put norton on my lappy after a clean install and it dragged my boot up times to a halt
