I got Creative TravelSound Notebook 500 speakers off ebay for abour 35.00 and they sound good for ones this size. i even put my mp3 player on them and not bad. Alot better then the ones on laptop m1210.

I had the xps gen 2 laptop and now i have the m1210 and i have to say it's not that great of sound on the m1210. My gen 2 was great!!! The best i have ever had on a laptop.

if i was you i would send that tv tuner back. I have the Fusion HDTV usb one on my desktop and dam is it nice. i use the beyond 4.3 software and it's great. and make HDTV down to dixix size for on the road.
