http://global.acer.com/about/news.asp?id=6595 Go have a look! Just spoke with Acer End User Pricing for the Ferrari 4000 = $2199.00
I dont think it is even at resellers yet...its not on acers website, I dont think it will even be on acers website until end of may. if you google Acer Ferrari 4000 all you can find is the news articles about the announcement...
Here is the link to the users manual for the Ferrari 4000 http://csd.acer.com.tw/acer/URMUL1.N...4?OpenDocument ML-37 is the processor it shows
The user manual that was posted here, showed a ML-37 (2.0ghz) Turion
Any ideas about price???
Id like pricing, but I imagine you wont get that.... HoweverI did sell my thinkpad, so now the wait is on for the release so I can order it. I am going to immediately replace the DDR333 Ram with Corsair DDR400, anyone want to buy...
So what is the X700 compared to? I always thought it was compared to what the Ferrari 3400 has, the M9700? Are we saying that the X700 is better than the M9700? Im not going to be buying it for gaming.....more for 64 bit Solaris...

But will the turion do better on battery life then the current low power AMD64 procs in the Ferrari 3400 and 3200? I mean the peak wattage of the ML-37 is 35W Whats the peak voltage of the low power AMD64
I would think around $2200.00 to $2300.00
