no the x7800 is 65nm, which is the same as the t7500 you have already, just a bit faster.
the extra 0.6ghz probably won't make that much of a difference, seeing how the 8400gs and ram speed can't be upgraded
the x9000 is 45nm, so it'll use less power and produce less heat.
