ahh i can see why now, the default clock is kinda low compared to other machines with similar specs. I thin kit was a voodoo pc notebook or something that put a clock of about 500 engine and 300 memory and it gave a much better score...
I am not sure whether u can check the clock without any programs, but if u use powerstrip, u can find out what it is and change it as well.

what about the Acer Aspire 2023 or Acer 2025 Both have the following specs: 15.4 inch 60gb 128mb radeon mobility 9700 !! dvd-rw 512 ddr ram The 2023 comes with the 1.6 centrino, 2025 comes with the dothan 1.8ghz
