that adapter works on mine 9400. Check the pin count on your s-video out against the picture that is posted of teh adapter. if they match, i would say it works. and its not that expensive either!

the only difference is that the quadro has better opengl rendering or something like that. It is built on the same chip as teh 7900gtx tho.
