This has been taken to court even. Socketed or easily replacable items were deemed not to void warranties. Memory, hard drives, cpus, external components, etc. As long as it does not physically alter the device.

If your goal is max performance though, put the x1400 in the new order, then swap the 1300 for the 1400. The 7300 performance in on par with the 1300, but the 1400 is better than both.
