Well, I've just requested a replacement. Now, if the new system will be worse than the old one, will they let me keep the old one?

I am also thinking about sending for a replacement of my Samsung screen, but am wondering if you can actually choose AUO or LG screen for the replacement machine. Did you guys specifically requested a different brand or just got lucky?...
