your best bet is to reinstall again and leave 1.5 gigs of unallocated space. That is your only way out!

what is there not to get? you don't have media center on your computer, therefore when you press the button when windows is on, it cannot find the program. that is why you get the error.
return it.. get another one.. if that screen isnt up to par... ask for a screen replacement until you get one you are happy with.
no it will not load media center because you don't have it in xp pro. that is why you are getting that error message that the software isn't loaded.
you can return it and reorder. if you don't wanna return it then you might be out of luck. another thought is talking to a manager in the customer service department saying that you think you deserve this deal and are very upset about...

when i am in windows and press the button it starts up WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER. thats what it should do in windows but when the computer is off, it starts the MEDIADIRECT application
