m1710 is going to have a better build quality and better overall feel compared to the inspiron.

I have the kensington key lock. Seems to work perfectly fine. I doubt someone would go to the trouble to pick the lock, but I am also not leaving the laptop anywhere where I would see any theft.

hm.. maybe my 6 cell isn't up to par then. I mean it isn't exactly at 2 hours and my 9 cell isn't exactly at 5 hours. It was just a rough estimate. Give or take thirty minutes on each battery depending on usage.

mine goes into a black screen before booting into welcome screen, but its only for a second and it boots fine.

could you expand more knowledge on the 91.37? I'm not familiar with this driver update.
