I have the pc card on a different laptop and it works amazing.. even in slow areas. I have never been somewhere where it does not work. Remember that you still have to pay about 60 dollars a month for the access!

I have one of the original Dell LCD Tv's (23 inch) and I use it as my monitor. It isn't fuzzy for my purposes, and works like a charm. It is nice to have a big monitor with less strain.
start--run--msconfig--enter--selective startup--then press the startup tab and uncheck the items you do not want to start at windows startup.
