Its practically brand new, but the G7 and the MX518 are not at all equal in price. The MX518 is almost half of the cost of a G7, so I don't think I'd do a straightup trade.

Thats what I figured. Maybe Ill just keep it until I goto college, since it's all wi-fi there instead.

Yeah, I have a G7 too. Hate it..I dont know if its because its next to my wireless router or what, but whenever I download large files, the mouse becomes next to unusable. Its like doing a slideshow with my mouse. It's crazy.

I'd like to purchase a new in box G5 for $35 or an MX518 for $27. Willing to deal!

Anyone? Is it something to be worried about?

Inspirion E1705 lappy. Just purchased it in the start of June.
