I was just wondering if anyone knows what type of RAM the ASUS z96j uses, im trying to upgrade. Also i have corsair RAM now do i need to get this brand or would a different brand work as long as its the right type, thanks. -Rob

Alright cool ill have to check those out. Ya im thinking the problem is most likeley coming from heat or the hard drive so ill mess around with it and see what i can do after i get an external hard drive to back up my data. -Rob

hum well i already tried pulling off the back cover and there wasn't much dust back there a little which i blew off with just my own breath. I guess i could try getting an air can see if that helps any, I don't think its overheating but...

I purchased an asus z96j about 2.5 years ago and im starting have problems with it running games and other programs. I've tried a disk defrag, AVG anti virus, Ad-aware, a registry booster, and clearing out extra space on the hard drive...

i just recieved my a96j from gentechpc.com. But whenever i try to type anything when i hit the "P" key it doesent type P and instead types something like "iwreq" Is this a problem with my keyboard or is there anythng...

Is there anyplace online where i can buy an s96j with merom? Ive been looking at gentechpc.com but they dont seem to offer it yet.

Does anyone know when the next generation of mobile graphics cards is supposed to hit the market? Ive heard rumors its going to be this fall around november but im not sure about it. Is it worth waiting?

Are there any Asus laptops avaliable with merom yet? If not how long till i can expect to see one, does anyone know?
