I think the 9100 is dual channel memory to, or at least thats what it says on the Dell UK site anyway.

So the WXGA and the WUXGA are the safest bets regarding screen quality where as if you go with the WSXGA you could end up with a rather poor screen ?

I should imagine if you can obtain the new GPU board it would fit in the i9100 no problem as they are practically the same machine it would appear. What Id like to know however is when this update happens will the new GPU find its way...

So is this CoD Lockup issue a totaly separate issue from the iXPS/i9100 Video Card problem ? am asking as the 9100 is on my list of possable systems to buy.

I may actuly want to buy a i9100 as it does seem like a nice system but Dell UK is makeing it very difficult for me to make this decision as i cant seem to get a straight answer out of them at all regarding the availablity of some kind...

Also something else i found out. It would appear(from what ive read anyway) that Microsoft may have(directly or indirectly)played a part in getting Intel and AMD to use the same standard for 64bit extensions, after all it would be a pain...
