i have the extended battery, whatever the largest one is, i cant remember how many cells, but it doesnt bother me at all, especially when i get over 5 hours of battery life.
both computers are 802.11g
does anybody know why this wireless solution is so slow, im periodically sending large files and folders (usually music and movies) and it is just redicilously slow, i think its faster to just sign on two different aol instant messenger...
So you have a wireless connection from both the desktop and laptop into the WRT54G if I understand you correctly. Assuming both wireless links are already working, you need only share the folders you wish to access from the other...
i do have a wireless router, and ive tried setting up a wireless network with no success, i do what the wizzard tells me to do for networking, but one computer doesnt show up one the other for me to see files
