i just got my dv8000t. I ordered an 100 gig HD but instead theres an 82 gig c drive and a 9 gig recovery d drive. I'm not sure if this is right, can someone help me.
heh, after i read the article i found about it on google, i knew i had to do it when my dv8000t comes. It seems like the best thing i could do to it, and my lap. It should even be added to the "guide to your first laptop"...
well, it seems a lot easier than opening your laptop and putting AS5 on it. I've read a lot about the difficulty of getting to the dv8000t cpu. Use the two programs RC-Clock and prime 95, it should take a while to get all the settings...
after reading an article on undervolting that seems the way to go. It also seems that whoever wrote the article was very happy (and i would be too) getting thier laptop to run at about 60 - 64 degrees celcius or 140-147 degrees...

well the Hp you're looking at is essentially the same one i bought, so i like that one. I would only get that one out of the 3 if it came down to warrenty, since you can get a big one from hp. But if a long warrenty isn't too...
