hmm... don't think I do... dam
Yea I think either dealing with Apple direct OR John Lewis are awesome! They never have any issues with replacing faulty products and give u like an extra 2 year warranty for free!
Ok I have had my mac for about half a year- I dropped it a bit ago; so had to pay to get it fixed; fair enough. Gave it back to me 'fixed' after a hefty bill of £300!! Go home read the list of probs the tech guy found; oh yea I had to wait three weeks for a supposed 'quick job' and had to give it up during my Exams because sending it in earlier during New year "Might result in a wait up to three weeks..." I'm dealing with Scotsys in Edinburgh just now where I bought it...
Is there any way someone could like custom make a apple laptop- Like put all the components, EVERYTHING like the fans as well, from like an ibook or even powerbook? Is this even possible- this must have been tried lol the clamshell looks so good but then again what is the screen like?
Would it just not be worth if for anyone; Apple should have kept the clamshell going.
Just pure curiosity lol
Thanks for looking
Ok some of you may have seen my recent post where I'm selling a 2gb ram memory stick for a friend- well there was a guy at college interested but he said it didn't work on his laptop- I tired it and it doesn't work on mine either... We both had the same problem- when inserted; even when on it's own so just 2gb in the laptop turns on but the little light on the screen release flashes... is this faulty ram- the friend I'm selling it for told me he never actually used it in...
Does anyone here know if you can and if so how to change the startup noise on a macbook pro? My brother had a friend who had his clamshell set to play a funny 10second sound clip- can you still do it?
Thanks in advance for any help
