Try checking the BIOS on startup. I believe there is an option to turn the clock on and off.

Nope, no such luck. The BIOS that came with my machine is horrible. nothing but Fan Speeds, the display clock, the card reader, and the boot order can be altered from the BIOS.

Yeah well my processors are each running at 1 GHz instead of 2.2. and it makes my games run ultra slow. And I want to game on the go sometimes.
