Is it going to be worth repairing this 5652? Along with the bios beeps signalling a graphics card/adapter problem, the screen goes black, but the pc is still running. New/different drivers have been tried but this doesn't change...

I have the 7520G, with a still-original-all-acer-Vista 32 bit installation. Running dxdiag shows the display as a generic PnP (Plug n Play?) monitor. As for the 'Lightscribe' option, if you insert a blank DVD disk what are the options...
