I dont think this is the issue. My temps are a little high (perhaps 85 C for the videocard at full tilt) but it's quite normal for this GPU, I think the slowdown temp is something like 102C

I've got an E1705 with Geforce Go 7900GS, using the latest dell drivers. For some odd reason, games start slowing down randomly, and unplugging my laptop for a few seconds then replugging it again causes a big jump in FPS. I have to do...

Well then I guess they lied about the date . Are there any tried & true drivers? I've had nothing but instability with modded drivers.
