What resolution is everyone comfortably running FEAR in? I'm trying to figure out the best settings for a LAN party scheduled for tomorrow. I know I know... I'm a Dell owner now but dangit you guys are my buds...
Couple other suggestions I've gotten since posting this in a different forum:
1. update the router firmware
2. turn auto detection off
3. change the channel on the router

I'm having the same problem with my new m170. I have a fairly new Linksys Wireless router. I even went and plopped down next to the router where the signal should have been 100% or close.

I haven't run 3dmark06 yet. Any tips on squeezing a couple hundred more out of the score?

I purchased that snap on customizer for my m170, and it completely covered the back of the unit and protects the metal from scratches. Of couse it was 30 bucks for that thing... but it also makes it look really...
Has anyone researched the possibility of unlocking Dell's lock of the 7800 card's bios?
You would think they'd make it possible for people to use the driver set's auto-overclock software to SAFELY overclock the card rather than force...
This doesn't sound like your problem (because when I did it I still got 4600 3dmark05 scores), but if you boot up without the AC adapter plugged in, the system scales down performance and you lose a couple thousand points on the benchmarks.
