Here is a quick run of tests on A01 vs A02 on my e1705 with a T7400 running. The upgrade worked fine with my yonah back in. Then I just swapped back to Merom and had no issues so it is supported and works. Tempretures are in line...

I've upgraded my e1705 to A02, and can confirm my Merom T7400 works correctly. I am benching now and checking temps as well. I'll post comparison from A01 to A02 shortly.

Another confirmation of A02 on E1705 with Merom T7400 working. I upgraded to A02 and my Merom is detected and running, I am in the process of re-benching it now and will verify temps as well. Rage

If someone can confirm flashing back to A01 from A02 works I can give it a whirl, I still have my old Yonah so I can up/down with that to bypass the hardware message.

Still sounds like we don't have a solid test on it, anyone else tried the merom in e1705 A02? Or can anyone confirm they have upgraded to A02 and then downgraded to A01 sucessfully?
