Well, Im currently waiting on a callback from Sager Tech, but I thought I would post my problem here in hopes that I could get it figured out.
Being a newb when it comes to Raid, I ordered my 8790 w/o an OS and I thought "well since im not getting the OS pre-installed, I guess I dont need to order the raid as well, since I can set it up when I install XP." Well, did I put myself in a world of hurt.
First off, I didnt get a Raid Floppy. No problemo, I saw raid...
I only purchased the 8 cell battery since I typically never operate my notebooks away from A/C power. Nevertheless, I still tested the battery performance and found that I was able to watch a complete DVD movie while operating only on the battery and still had another 20 minutes of power left.
Wow CTHD is 2 hours (at least thats what they say at imdb.com) Are you using any power saving settings? Adam only got 1h 10m, but he had the subwoofer...
