I was successfully able to bring back a dead 7900GS today. Just so you guys know, JMOD's image replaces the '-' near the number keys with a '`', so you have to use the '-' on the numberpad 'fn+;' for it to work, else it types 'nvflash...

It depends on the game. Some games work the GPU hard no matter what the settings while others throttle themselves with the settings changes. Most newer games choose the first method. The lower the settings and res, the higher the FPS...

The integrated sound on the e1705 is fine for me, especially when I turned up the subwoofer volume. Make sure you install the creative drivers if you play games though! They remove the crackling problems in some games, especially BF2!...

Install the Creative Audigy Software. That fixes the problem in BF2, not sure in WoW though. WoW works fine on my lappy either way, but it's worth a shot.
