I keep a towel over my touchpad and the base right before the keyboard so my hands can rest without getting hot. Now is this ok? Some people had worries that it was too damn hot for a laptop. I know this machine runs hot.....what what...

Well that backfired on me..... could it be my port settings? Perhaps something that I messed up with my bit torrent clients?

well that worked...then when I tried to access the page I needed it said blocked..... any other suggestions are still welcome

bah..... still using the ATI drivers..... I don't want to do Omega 4.5 if I get Doom 3... I need to also be able to have video playback.... what is with ATI?
