some ppl find it helpful to unplug your battery when not in use, and put it in the conventional oven @ 325 degrees f for 3 hours. this seems to invigorate the battery and provide a much higher screen contrast ratio.
i would be more inclined to look into a fancy looking desktop with one of those towers that looks like an alien head and that glows like a nightlight. you could get like a duffle bag to carry it around with you but get one with a strap...

on 486 architecture you would need 2 seperate monitors wired into the tower via a shmingta video switcher
