More info...after turning the computer off for over 3hrs, at startup the CPU temp showed 51degC while the hard drives were at 22degC, ambient temp 21degC. Anyone?...bad sensor?

I have a NEC 6500A that I want to install in my 9300. The catch is the 6500A is in an Inspiron 8600 shell which is different than the 9300 shell. Anyone attempted this surgery?
