hey at004, i actually did a clean install right after i started getting the problems....still got the errors after that....now i'm still ok (touch wood) thanks

ok well....i've uninstalled ati programs and installed the drivers with omega software. i also installed new realtek drivers. so far i'm still ok. i dunno why they have firmware or drivers with conflicts. i dunno whether this will help...

memtest past....any more suggestions? i hope it's not the motherboard....i really cannot part with this machine for 1 day....i have too much work to do

i don't have any lcd problems but i've got my hands full with other errors and i have done a hdd diagnostic and memory test....absolutely perfect. so i dunno

no luck....giving errors again. will try memtest. thanks for the suggestion. my luck hey....

no errors when i do a diagnostic....what i can say is this, i've uninstalled kaspersky anti-virus and installed AVG all is well for now...will update if the problem arises.

Hi everyone, I just got myself an Acer TravelMate 8204 . Monster of a package in a little laptop. But I've been struggling with installing, uninstalling and running programs . I really don't have a clue why but it is constantly giving...
