If you want to make your own restore disc, start by adding the raid/sata controller into your windows cd with Nlite Program, that way you will never needs floppy drives again.

You will be able to upgrade your laptop, however to install another video card you will need a motherboard v6.1 or newer and the 220w power supply rather than 180w.
