Give the choice between a speced out d800 and 8600 and no budget contraints, I would choose the d800 and throw in a apr and dview stand with it.
I have the a similar problem. It happens sometimes when coming out of standby. Has anyone else noticed this?
It happens once or twice a week, but my i am happy with my laptop and i guess i will contact dell when it bugs me...
In terms of gaming, i think both are the same. The d800 has some nice extras that make it worth it.
The key differences
- d800 has gigabit ethernet
- d800 has dbay port ( also functions as a third usb port)
- 8600 uses PC2700...
