Well the laptop shipped on Friday so I should have it late this week. Not bad, 9 days from order to ship. I remember when I bought my 5700 it took well over a month.

Ordered a new system on Wednesday and the order status on the Dell website just shows "In Production". I am assuming the phase system is a casualty of the merger?

Where is the 10% coming from? I am not seeing it on the usual sites and the cart isn't showing a discount.

Did you happen to get it yet? I have seen very little in the way of reviews or production photos.

One thing I forgot to mention is that laptop video cards are strange beasts. If support isn't built into the BIOS and Alienware hasn't released drivers for the card, it won't work. You might be able to hack support into the official...
