Check the system bios to see if it is listing both drives. You could check the cableing inside, but that really looks like a bad drive.
The other option would be to delete the array and see if it will let you re-create it.
Hmm, this is a tough one. Is the system still under warranty? There could be a lot of different possibilities. I wouldn't rule out anything else out though. It could be an issue with the computer not posting.
