I bought an xps 15 with the 2.53ghz dual core processor, core i5. It seems like some of the I7 processors might be on a different socket, so they won't fit. Has anyone put in another processor on theirs?

That "QM" on the end of that model name/number you posted is short for quad core mobile

I have a t2250, and a question about it. It says it is a 479 pin cpu, most yonahs are 478...I can't seem to find info on the c2d right now, but are these compatible even though they have a different pin count? I don't wanna be stuck with...
