well since the lead (graphite) in the pencil is conductive rubbing the pencil on the top of a resistance will reduce its resistance permitting more voltage to go true

honestly you would need to figure which of the small resistance on the board you would have to pencil in order to slightly raise the voltage and which type of lead pen to use in order to properly affect the voltage.

yes well its a dell... i have noticed that myself, that as the gpu fails the temp will progressively start to reach higher and higher max temp until it finally fail for good
10 min at 200c is to much in my point of view and yes it seems to be the end slowly you can always try to recook it
