The XPS 1710 tuner is indeed an external USB unit. The Picture quality is actually quite good, but that's just my opinion.
That might be it. i use the Xtreme-G drivers.
My nVidia service is on automatic, it's started. LCD still stays on when the lid is closed.
It's a toss up for me. With the Sigmatel drivers Oblivion sounds great, but stutters like crazy. With the Creative drivers Oblivion sounds crappy, but silky smooth. Screwed either way.
