Actually, the 5500 is actually really cheap right now with the 200 bucks off. I agree there Desktops are way overpriced, but not thier notebooks IMO. Just get minimum ram, and buy your own from Newegg, as everyone rips off on ram.

I guess I would suggest getting the minimum amount of ram from Alienware, and then buying some more ram off of newegg, as Alienware seems to rip you off when you want more ram, as about everyone else does.
