Greetings to everyone in the macbook forum. I have an Acer 8204(yah I know, had i known boot camp was coming, I would have bought a macbook pro). The 8204 has the same specs as the macbook pro, same graphics card etc.

Not sure what happened, but I can't seem to get the mouse pad to work on the 8204. I disenabled and enabled the Synaptics application but to no avail.
Any ideas? The laptop works fine with a USB mouse.
I can't seem to find the eprom update zip on the Acer ftp. I havent' fixed my ethernet issue on the 8204 that we all had in the first batch.
Any idea how to fix this? I downloaded the lan.zip but when I opened the readme it seemed...
