See title. I've got a 766 with the old 9600 video module, and I'd like to upgrade like alienware promised I'd be able to do when I bought the thing 3 years ago. Also looking for the slot-loading dvd-rw they were selling about a year...

playing avis and dvds, I get about 1% per minute loss. so approx 100 minutes per battery. I have 2. And you don't need a battery in the 51M766 to run it. It'll happily chug away on AC power with the battery slot empty.

They're not at all flexible, far as I can tell. I've got a bad pixel in the center. I'll report in on the process once I've backed everything up and send it in.

What paint out there is a good match for the alienware colors? last trip took a chip out of the top corner of my conspiracy blue baby.

Well, never thought I'd be happy to see a dead pixel! I found a second one, and its in the center area! Its dim, not nearly as noticable as the bright red. So it looks like I'll be getting a new LCD screen. I think I'll wait until...
