I'm starting to wish I had the higher res... but 1280x800 ain't too bad I suppose. Everything looks quite clear, and by dropping the better screen there is 40 more gigs of disk space and 2 gig of RAM, which is nothing to complain about.

It feels fairly weighty, but when I got it out the box I thought the battery and HDD must be missing - a world of difference, IMO, to my old Inspiron (forget the model - a P4 about 1 1/2 years ago).
