Yup, go to Crucial and even use there system check tool. It'll scan your notebook and list the exact ram your system can use

well the D810 had the A04 bios. now it has the A05 bios and the same issue occurs the 7800 i have must be a newer revision that just won't work in the D810.
found the guide that ShadowMage used for his but the thing is the 7800Go i have is a diff shape then the one in the pictures
