If you're using one of the newer drivers, juan's bios actually prevents you from OCing. The stock bios works fine. If you want the optimized memory timings, use the GTX bios.
There probably is something messed up with the sensor readings - I'm pretty sure one of those cards needs an 8 degree temperature offset, and if you notice 54(gtx bios) + 8 = 62 which almost equals your GS bios temperatures.
That service sounds pretty useless, the big draw of the WUXGA screen is the high res and not the fact that it's shiny.
