D/l all drivers off the dell sight and burn them to disk, other wise you will need the dell driver disk to install ethernet drivers to D/l the drivers Pooldoc

I've heard it's not such a big difference, the mhz you gain is negated by the higher timings on the 667[5, as opposed to 4]. The only way I'd do it is when I upgrade to 2 gigs, I'll probably get the 667. Pooldoc

You can also use PCDecrapifier to get rid of all the dell junk. If you reformat, be careful not to get rid of the hidden partition that holds media center, there is a guide on this site somewhere tells how to keep it. Pooldoc

I contacted dell thru their online chat, had the reinstalation cd and more 2 days after, no charge.Pooldoc

If you call or chat with dell, they will send you all the cd's

Perhaps Award would be interested in modding the bios, they were willing to mod my desktop bios to include some overclocking features, for a price.

2 days ago I requested the media direct cd from dell, today it shows up, along with 5 other cd's, some of which I already had. A driver and utility cd, roxio Creator,Cyberlink Power DVD,Dell tools cd and the OS reinstalation cd Didn't...

I use nvidias decoder and nero, works fine. Have also read thar powerdvd works as well. Pooldoc
