My current emachine desktop can run Zero Hour at a fairly playable rate, but it's painful sometimes. I've got 640MB RAM, 2.0GHz Intel Celeron processor, and a Geforce 5800 something or other (it's old enough that I can't remember).

I'm considering the HP Pavilion dv8000z for budget reasons. I've looked at better laptops, but they all tend to get pricey. I configured this one with the AMD Turion 64 ML-44 (2.4 GHz/1MB L2 Cache), 2 GB RAM, and 128MB ATI RADEON XPRESS...
