Clear the cooling channels of dust. It's a heat problem. I've experienced it too. I grabbed a vacuum cleaner and sucked all the dust from the heat sinks and the framedrops dissapeared like snow in front of the sun.

Anyone have working drivers for the m9700? The link in the start post works but it requires a password...

For the software you use, i'd say the difference between 2.0 and 2.33 isn't big at all. It's just 330 Mhz. Only benchmarking software will really notice the difference, belief me. If you want to 'future proof' it (if possible in the PC...

My experience was great. The service is fine (here in Europe). I've had my m9700 laptop for almost a year now. It has died on me, so i had to send it out to Alienware, and apparantly a chipset problem caused it, and Alienware sent me...
