when's the right time to upgrade to the geforce go 7800gtx? would it make hl2 aftermath (whenever its release) a pleasureable game play experince in terms of high quality/ or high performance?

what about the 7800gtx on hl2? if i do get 1 gb or 2gb, should i disable/ not use the page file? improvement? the game loads from the hard disk, so ....

in hl2, i put all of the settings on high but sometimes it causes slowdowns/ stutterings and all that. it only happens mostly while just one time it doesn't i hate to degrade the settings but do i need to upgrade to my ram? video...

i use fraps and the built in fps in hl2. sometimes it would insanely hit 200 fps at some points (ch.2). my settings are: native resolution 1920x1200 aa 4x af 16x everything on high is it for real or its buggy?

the xp logo flag on the start button is really distorted and blurry. do you havr this issue? is there a fix? see attachment bmp file

do i need more ram or replace the video card. the normal gpu temps are 40-55 C. the highest is only 85 C when on HL2

today, the game crash, then a white screen, then it rebooted. damn well since its in window mode, the temps before the crash are cpu: 53 C gpu: 83 C hard drive: 35 C

what are you're HL2 settings for a near,smooth game play? somehow after 2 or 3 hours the game crashes then reboots

what about that brushed aluminum? and scratches?
