SiSoft reccommended a refresh rate of 75Mhz. The only rates available were 59 and 60Mhz so I added a refresh rate of 75Mhz. Would this have any adverse effects on my system as I am trying to diagnose the source of my problems?

Nvidia 6800 GO with the 75.50 drivers from Sager's website. I've tried it with and without Coolbits and the games still won't run. Sometimes I get a BSOD error message related to the nv4.dsp driver as being the cause.
