I'm currently on deployment with the navy. I bought a brand new 9000z before my deployment, but the left speaker broke. I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not i could succesfully open up the laptop to troubleshoot the speaker? ...

I have been using my pci slot on my old hp 5000z and the new 9000z does not have one. ive researched some usb options but they arent available yet, at least not yet here. so, what are my options? i was using the sprint evdo pci card.

think nothing of it. when they are done building your laptop, theyll ship that with the warranty info in a box. when i ordered my 5000 series it said the same thing. i got them both together though.

Hey all. I just purchased a 9000z from hp.com. I will be recieving it around sept 2nd, so dont expect any details from me until two weeks or so. here are the specs: turion 64 X2 TL-56 1.8 ghz 100gb 5400rpm hd 2gb ram nvidia...

i also noticed they show the picture for the 12-cell battery, but do not include that option either. interesting, because i'd much rather have a 12 cell then 8 cell. i guess i can always get that later? im extremely happy though,...

yes, thank you, but from what im told the 7200 series wouldnt be much better then the ati 200m that i have in my laptop now. im very excited about the 6000z series.....just i wishit had at least the 7400 or the 7600.

I want to buy a laptop with a 15" screen(or 15.4"), an amd turion 64, and a decent video card.....do these types exist anywhere? i cant seem to find one, save for an uber expensive alienware or qhatever. im not trying to...
